Roof Form Trees

Roof form trees, also known as umbrella or parasol trees, are a relatively new trend in garden design landscape architecture. They can be used for creating shade over pathways or seating areas, giving privacy from overlooking windows or simply for height and structure.

We offer an enormous range of species and various levels of maturity. Choosing the right species is crucial. Some trees will produce dense, fast growth which creates thick canopies which create denser shade, whereas some will grow more slowly and create more dappled shade. We can also offer some trees with taller stem heights and larger roof sizes. We offer all of this and everything in between.

The range of roof form trees also covers differing stages of maturity in the roof, to offer clients a range of trees to suit all budgets, as well as trees that will give the required amount of immediate impact and cover.

The range of roof form trees on offer includes:

  • Acer campestre (Field Maple)
  • Acer campestre ‘Elsrijk’ (Field Maple)
